Job Description:
As an FP&A Graduate Analyst, you will support the financial planning and analysis team in the preparation, consolidation, and reporting of financial information within Ferrovial Airports, gaining hands-on experience in budgeting, forecasting, and performance analysis. This position is designed to provide recent graduates with foundational experience in FP&A, with guidance and mentorship from experienced team members.

Ferrovial Construction is looking for a Quantity Surveyor Intern for a one-year industry placement on the HS2 project, starting September 2026, to assist with commercial management and contract administration.
The Ferrovial NextGen Internship programme is designed to develop personal, professional and technical skills through a blended approach. You will work under the supervision of our Senior Quantity Surveyors.
Key Responsibilities
A large part of your work will involve tender enquiries, analysis of quotations and subcontractor procurement.

- To assist in the management of the day-to-day bill of quantities for the relevant sections of allocated projects to ensure financial efficiencies

Job Overview
The Procurement Intern will support the Procurement Department in the coordination, organization, analysis, and tracking of procurement activities for construction projects. The intern will assist with vendor information, bid comparisons, purchase orders, contract documentation, procurement reports, and communication with project teams and suppliers. The role also includes supporting procurement activities for both ongoing projects and active bidding efforts, gaining hands‑on experience in the processes required for contract award. As part of this support, the intern will evaluate potential vendors, prepare comparative studies, develop procurement status reports, and contribute to the procurement needs of projects in execution as well as those in the bidding phase.
This position is ideal for a student or recent graduate with a strong technical background and a genuine interest in construction, procurement processes, supply chain management, contract administration, and data analytics.
Key Responsibilities
- Support the preparation and organization of procurement documentation, including vendor quotations, bid tabs, purchase orders, and contract files.
- Assist in managing and updating vendor and subcontractor information.
- Collect, analyze, and summarize proposals for materials, equipment, and subcontracted work packages.
- Maintain procurement tracking logs, status reports, and follow‑up actions.
- Keep records organized and up to date in SharePoint, Procore, InSite, Excel, and other procurement platforms.
- Prepare analytical reports on procurement activity, vendor performance, package status, pricing trends, pending approvals, and cost comparisons.
- Contribute to the development of dashboards and visual reports using Excel, Power BI, or similar tools.
- Analyze procurement data to identify delays, bottlenecks, missing information, and opportunities for process improvement.

Required Qualifications
- Currently pursuing or recently completed a degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, Data Analytics, or a related technical field.

- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
- Excellent attention to detail and ability to organize, interpret, and analyze information effectively.

The position of Drainage Intern will provide technical and functional support to design activities in the field and office, assisting with the development and review of project drawings, plans, and specifications.
