Job Overview

The Digital Construction & Data Management Intern will support the Data Analytics and Platforms Manager in the implementation and maintenance of digital tools, dashboards, and data workflows for construction projects.

The intern will work mainly with Procore, Power Apps, and Power BI, helping the team organize project information, improve reporting, automate processes, and support the adoption of digital platforms across the company.

Key Responsibilities

  • Support the administration, organization, and use of Procore for project data, workflows, and reporting.
  • Assist in developing and maintaining Power BI dashboards and reports.
  • Help create and improve Power Apps used to collect, manage, and visualize project information.
  • Clean, organize, and validate data from different project sources.
  • Assist with the automation of repetitive tasks and reporting processes.
  • Support the preparation of user guides, training materials, and process documentation.

Required Qualifications

  • Good knowledge of Microsoft Excel.
  • Basic knowledge or willingness to learn Power BI, Power Apps, and Procore.

Job Overview

The Procurement Intern will support the Procurement Department in the coordination, organization, analysis, and tracking of procurement activities for construction projects. The intern will assist with vendor information, bid comparisons, purchase orders, contract documentation, procurement reports, and communication with project teams and suppliers. The role also includes supporting procurement activities for both ongoing projects and active bidding efforts, gaining hands‑on experience in the processes required for contract award. As part of this support, the intern will evaluate potential vendors, prepare comparative studies, develop procurement status reports, and contribute to the procurement needs of projects in execution as well as those in the bidding phase.

This position is ideal for a student or recent graduate with a strong technical background and a genuine interest in construction, procurement processes, supply chain management, contract administration, and data analytics.

Key Responsibilities

  • Support the preparation and organization of procurement documentation, including vendor quotations, bid tabs, purchase orders, and contract files.
  • Assist in managing and updating vendor and subcontractor information.

Summary 

The position of Drainage Intern will provide technical and functional support to design activities in the field and office, assisting with the development and review of project drawings, plans, and specifications.

The role

Ferrovial Construction is looking for a Quantity Surveyor Intern to support commercial management and contract administration on our Sewage Treatment Works project, from June to the end of August 2026.

The Ferrovial NextGen Internship programme is designed to develop personal, professional and technical skills through a blended approach. You will work under the supervision of our Senior Quantity Surveyors.

Key Responsibilities

 A large part of your work will involve tender enquiries, analysis of quotations and subcontractor procurement.

Key Accountabilities

  • To assist in the management of the day-to-day bill of quantities for the relevant sections of allocated projects to ensure financial efficiencies
  • Help analyse subcontractor valuations
  • To be focused on cost control in line with the businesses’ financial systems
  • To liaise with the procurement teams as required to ensure compliance with financial parameters
  • Assist in the production and monitoring of Applications/Final Accounts/payment certificates/change control
  • Assist in checking agreed sub-contract Applications/Accounts
  • Document control
  • Contribute to the achievement of Health and Safety in accordance with company policy
  • To promote company values in all dealings with other employees, clients, subcontractors and other external contacts.
  • Adopting and promoting Ferrovial Construction UK Vision and Values. Taking ownership of the work assigned to you

Skills and Competence

We are looking for interns with:

  • Excellent communication skills and ability to interact at a variety of levels

  • Currently studying a Degree or Masters in Quantity Surveying
  • Motivated to learn and add value to the team and the role

  • Commercial awareness and an understanding of the industry

  • Must have right to work in the UK by the start of employment and for the entirety of the internship programme.
