As an FP&A Intern, you will support the financial planning and analysis team in the preparation, consolidation, and reporting of financial information within Ferrovial Airports, gaining hands-on experience in budgeting, forecasting, and performance analysis. This position is designed to provide recent graduates with foundational experience in FP&A, with guidance and mentorship from experienced team members.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Participation in monthly closing processes, budgeting, and business plan preparation, providing support in the preparation and analysis of the financial and operational results of Ferrovial's Airports business unit.

  • Support in cost control, reporting, and analysis, with a strong emphasis on overheads and project costs. This includes analyzing monthly variances against budgets and forecasts, managing cost allocation, and overseeing cost centers. 

  • Assist in the improvement and development of financial tools for reporting and analysis, with particular attention to identified improvements in digitization and process automation.

  • Support in the preparation of reports that provide accurate and reliable financial information to internal decision-making bodies (Executive Management, Board of Directors) and external stakeholders (market result presentations, preparation of Annual Accounts).

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Economics, Accounting, Data Analytics or a related field.

  • Recent graduate or up to 1 year of experience in finance or a similar field.

  • Strong analytical and numerical skills with attention to detail.

  • Proficiency in Excel; knowledge of financial systems (e.g., SAP, Hyperion) is a plus.

  • Excellent communication skills and a willingness to learn from mentors.

  • Proficiency in English & Spanish (C2) or bilingual.

About the Role.

The inSite Support Intern will support the inSite functional support team in the daily operation, maintenance, and continuous improvement of the inSite platform.

This role provides hands-on experience in enterprise application support within a global construction and engineering environment, working closely with functional analysts, technical teams, and business users.

It is an excellent opportunity for students or recent graduates interested in enterprise systems, digital transformation, and IT support in large organizations.

Key Responsibilities.

  • Support the inSite functional support team in managing and tracking user incidents and requests.
  • Assist in the analysis and documentation of functional issues reported by end users.
  • Maintain and update functional documentation, user guides, and training materials.
  • Support User Acceptance Testing (UAT) activities for new features and enhancements.
  • Collaborate with senior analysts in user training sessions and onboarding processes.

Your mission will be to give support in the development of financial models linked to the proposal presented in both bidding and divestment processes, as well as to give support in the performance of economic-financial analysis of those projects and assets in portfolio.

Tasks:

  • Analysis of the evolution of economic, operational and financial variables of investments.

Summary 

The position of Drainage Intern will provide technical and functional support to design activities in the field and office, assisting with the development and review of project drawings, plans, and specifications.
