Job Description:

The Business Development Director provides strategic and commercial leadership identifying new business opportunities and fostering our growth in the future of mobility 

 

Essential Duties and Responsibilities: 

  • Contributes as an active member of the executive leadership team to shape all facets of commercial strategy for the Company 

  • Help collaborate in the establishment of commercial strategic plan with the mission to reach our ambitious growth targets 

  • Market analysis: Analyze, identify, and propose new growth opportunities and partnerships for the Company 

  • Prioritize, action plan and coordinate with the different departments and advisors in the development of proposals/bids in accordance with Company standards and clients' needs 

  • Contract Management: Negotiation with internal and external parties  

  • Search of new partners and development of partnership agreements in compliance with the local law, company strategy & procedures 

  • Determine additional consumer capabilities for existing products and opportunities for future products 

  • Collaborate with internal business units, shareholders, departments  

  • Performs other duties as necessary  

Qualifications (Knowledge, Skills & Abilities):

Education & Experience: 

  • PostGraduate education preferred (Business Administration, Engineering, Finance or related) 

  • 10-15+ years of experience in leadership, strategic planning and execution 

  • At least 8+ years of in start-up and/or digital environments  

  • Expereience working with government agencies and within the public sector procurement processes at a state and federal level is essential.  

  • Experience within Software industry is essential with Road User Charge (RUC), Digital Tolling experience is a strong plus.  

  • Ability to manage contracts and understand all legal concepts, interpret and contribute to the contract development and execution process.  

  • Extensive commercial knowledge

  • Demonstrate business and operational expertise 

  • Entrepreneurial with the ability to continuously drive excellence  

  • Superior interpersonal communication, presentation skills, decision-making, project management and negotiating skills

  • Must be able to multitask, problem solve, prioritize, and implement innovative processes within a fast-paced environment  

 

Computer Skills:  

  • Must possess experience with software development products, especially in the areas of digital applications for iOS and Android devices 

  • Must be able to demonstrate computer proficiency, especially as to Microsoft Excel, Word and Power Point and other PC based programs
