To this end, we have a robust and evolving digital transformation strategy that is fully aligned with our broader business objectives. Our primary goal is to leverage IT & Innovation to enhance the value of our assets, improve efficiency, gain competitive advantages, and lead in a rapidly changing digital landscape.

Ferrovial’s innovation efforts are embedded within a comprehensive digitalization process aimed at transforming the company’s operations and boosting competitiveness. Key programs include asset management, exploration of new technologies, data solutions, and process digitalization, among others.

The significant progress achieved through the Digital Horizon 2024 program—backed by a €70.6 million investment in 2024—has laid the foundation for the next phase: ReadIT 2027. This new framework integrates emerging technologies like artificial intelligence and cloud computing, while maintaining a strong emphasis on data, digital platforms, processes, and people, and guaranteeing our fundamentals such as compliance, cybersecurity, health & safety, sustainability, and obsolescence surveillance.

This structured and forward-looking approach has enabled Ferrovial to build a mature innovation ecosystem that responds to business challenges through open collaboration and a culture of continuous improvement. As a result, the company is well-positioned to adopt emerging technologies and identify new digital business opportunities that align with its strategic vision.
