Job Description:
The Investment Analysis professional will play a key role in driving the economic and financial evaluation of both new investment opportunities and the optimization of existing portfolio assets. This position bridges the pre-acquisition and post-acquisition phases, ensuring robust financial modeling, strategic decision-making support, and compliance with internal and external procedures, while collaborating with multidisciplinary teams and external stakeholders.
Functions:
Develop and coordinate detailed financial models for the valuation of both new investment projects and existing portfolio assets, including complex financing structures.
Conduct economic and financial analyses for new acquisitions, divestments, and the ongoing performance of assets in the portfolio.
Participate in financial due diligence processes, collaborating with external advisors, partners, and internal stakeholders.
Maintain and update financial models for portfolio assets, including P&L, cash flow, and balance sheet projections.
Participate in refinancing processes, impairment analyses, and integration efforts for newly acquired assets.
Work closely with the Corporate Development team to evaluate new investment opportunities and optimize existing assets.
Prepare valuation and performance reports for internal purposes and third-party processes.
Conduct "ad hoc" financial analyses and studies relevant to Senior Management decision-making.
Ensure compliance with internal and external procedures in financial reporting, investment analysis, and valuation processes.
Establish procedures and controls to ensure the robustness and accuracy of financial models.
Stay updated on market trends, financial structures, and investment opportunities to improve the analysis and management of assets.
Requirements:
Degree in Business, Economics, Mathematics, or Engineering (with subsequent finance training) and high motivation for investment analysis and project finance.
Valuable master's in finance or MBA in a prestigious business school or CFA
Essential expert level in the elaboration of financial models of the valuation of investments in the infrastructure sector with complex financing structures
Essential expert level of programming in Visual Basic
At least 5 years of experience in functions similar to those described
