Job Description:

Your responsibilities will include:

  • Support in collecting and updating collaborations between startups and various business units at Ferrovial.
  • Assistance in managing the startup portfolio (SRM – Startup Relationship Management).  
  • Support in organizing corporate venturing programs (scouting tasks, “Dealflow Sessions,” etc.).
  • Aid in participation at ecosystem events and their reporting (South Summit, 4YFN, CES, Ecomotion, Slush, etc.).
  • Collaboration in creating communication content (internal/external) about ecosystem activities (news, blog posts, videos, social media messages, presentations, etc.).
  • Participation in economic and technical studies of opportunities within the Foresight program.
  • Support in assessing and re-defining Ferrovial's Open Innovation funnel.
  • Support in startup and technology scouting 

Our ideal profile:

  • Higher university degree in Engineering/Mathematics/Physics/Chemistry with financial knowledge.
  • Previous experience in the startup ecosystem and innovation project management (especially evaluating technological products) will be valued.
  • Strong analytical and mathematical skills.
  • Excellent communication abilities.
  • Creativity with an interest in new technologies.
  • Autonomy, teamwork, proactivity, customer orientation, and ability to propose solutions to complex problems.
  • Adaptability to change, ability to work under pressure, and commitment to meeting demanding deadlines.
  • Advanced user level in MS Office 365.
  • Knowledge in Python or other programming languages will be valued.
  • High level of English is essential (minimum C1).
