Resumen del Puesto:**

El/La Capataz es responsable de supervisar y coordinar las actividades diarias de un equipo de trabajadores en el sitio de construcción. Garantiza el cumplimiento de las normas de seguridad, la calidad del trabajo y la finalización oportuna de las tareas, colaborando estrechamente con el/la Jefe de Obra.

Responsabilidades:**

* Supervisar y dirigir a un equipo de trabajadores de la construcción en la ejecución de tareas asignadas.
* Interpretar planos y especificaciones técnicas, asegurando su correcta implementación.
* Asegurar el cumplimiento de las normas de seguridad e higiene en el trabajo, incluyendo el uso correcto del equipo de protección personal (EPP).
* Distribuir tareas y asignar responsabilidades a los miembros del equipo, optimizando la eficiencia y el uso de los recursos.
* Inspeccionar el trabajo realizado para garantizar la calidad y el cumplimiento de los estándares establecidos.
* Identificar y resolver problemas que puedan surgir en el sitio de construcción, informando al Jefe de Obra sobre situaciones que requieran su intervención.
* Mantener el orden y la limpieza en el área de trabajo.
* Controlar la asistencia y puntualidad de los trabajadores.
* Colaborar con el Jefe de Obra en la planificación y programación de las actividades.
* Participar en reuniones de seguridad y capacitación.

Cualificaciones:**

* Experiencia demostrable como Capataz en proyectos de construcción, preferiblemente en el sector de infraestructuras.
* Conocimiento profundo de las técnicas y procedimientos de construcción.
* Habilidad para interpretar planos y especificaciones técnicas.
* Conocimiento sólido de las normas de seguridad e higiene en el trabajo.
* Capacidad de liderazgo y gestión de equipos.
* Excelentes habilidades de comunicación interpersonal y resolución de problemas.
* Capacidad para trabajar bajo presión y cumplir con plazos ajustados.
* Deseable: Certificación en Prevención de Riesgos Laborales.
* Deseable: Formación profesional en áreas relacionadas con la construcción (ej. edificación y obra civil).

* Apoiar a direção de obra na gestão administrativa do projeto.

* Gerir a documentação do projeto, incluindo contratos, ordens de compras, autorizações e faturas.

* Desenvolver o orçamento do projeto em conjunto com a direção de obra e controlar o seu desenvolvimento, bem como preparar relatórios justificativos.

About H7, Heathrow

Ferrovial Construction has been working at Heathrow Airport for over 10 years delivering some of the most complex infrastructure projects to high quality, safety and environmental standards.

Since joining Heathrow’s framework in 2014, Ferrovial Construction has delivered a variety of airside and landside projects across the whole airport. For example, we have delivered new taxiways and rehabilitated existing taxiways and the southern runway. We have also redeveloped sterile and grass areas and replaced critical assets, such as fire main, fuel main and HV ducts. We are currently working alongside Heathrow to rehabilitate assets with expired design life’s and plan for a future runway resurfacing project.

We are constantly designing and planning our works around critical assets and engaging with different key stakeholders in order to deliver Heathrow value for money.

Our H7 framework spans from airfield works (taxiways, runways, stands), to civils (roads, demolition works, underground and above ground structures), and MEP packages (services tunnels, lifts, life safety systems, fuel/fire mains).

 

Assisting the Area/Senior Quantity Suveryor and working as part of an integrated project team. To deliver a successful commercial outcome to the projects(s) with which you are associated.
The tasks to be carried out will be of a mixture of supporting nature and independently leading, and will be carried out periodically, but will require working to regular deadlines:

• Input in to Cost / Value reconciliations.
• Bottom Up and End Life Cost Reporting.
• Prepare and agree interim valuations / final valuations / final accounts / sub-contract final accounts
• Prepare and issue certification / payment of sub-contractors
• Contractual administration including early warning and compensation event process.
• Dispute management.
• Cost Monitiring & Reporting
• To ensure effective integration and collaboration with project management teams.
• Regular site visits to ensure that site records are maintained and that all risks and opportunities are identified and managed
• Commercial relationships with subcontractors balancing the delivery of quality services with achieving best value for the business
• Drafting & issuance of subcontract scope and packages.
• Drafting and submitting Applications for Payment to Client
• Regular engagement with Client team.

To have an awareness and understanding of the importance of the following Technical Competencies required including:
• Understanding & working knowledge of the NEC form of Contract
• Principles of contract law and tort, statutory obligations and legislation.
• Pre-contract controls – understanding scope and method for evaluation.
• Contract administration including data reporting and record keeping.
