  • Distribute and receive bi-weekly overnight packages from the regional office 

  • Order safety supplies and office supplies 

  • Assist with new hire processing at the job site 

  • Answer job trailer phone, route phone calls, answer general inquiries, take messages, and contact others as requested 

  • Enter production figures into the database 

  • Assist with additional administrative tasks 

  • Maintain common work areas including meeting rooms and break rooms 

  • Maintain a highly organized work area and manage multiple projects simultaneously 

  • Write reports, business correspondence, and project documents 

 

Who You Are: A Profile of Success 

  • High school diploma or general education degree (GED) 

  • One (1) to three (3) months related experience and/or training 

  • Be able to communicate in English via verbal and written communications 

  • Moderate to high level of computer skills in MS Word, MS Excel, and MS Outlook 

  • Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals

Position Summary

Under the direction of the Regional HSEQ Manager, the Health, Safety, Environmental and Quality Coordinator will assist in maintaining the company's health and safety systems in order to meet company and legislative compliance. This includes but is not limited to assisting with documenting training and assisiting with WSIB case management.

Primary Duties and Responsibilities

  • Develop, organize, manage, maintain, and administer the Health and Safety Program in collaboration with Health and Safety department
  • Relay required safety information to all staff
  • Identify safety training requirements, make recommendations to Safety Committees, and schedule the training as approved and required
  • Conduct safety training within the scope of his/her experience and certification
  • Complete internal audits as required
  • Assist with hazard assessments
  • Coordinate regarding requirements for achieving COR Certification
  • Maintain the WHMIS program, including current SOS and staff training
  • Contribute positively to creating a safe and secure environment to support student learning
  • Assist in the development, coordination, and maintenance of emergency preparedness plans
  • Provide support with WSIB case management including being familiar with the Board's regulations and policies
  • Work closely with the managers and supervisors ensuring compliance with safety legislation and company programs while at work
  • Coordinate the review of health and safety related policies and procedures
  • Monitor and advise on legislative and technical changes relating to health and safety

Your Role: Driving excellence through technical expertise and innovation 

The Project Administrator is responsible for on-site administrative tasks to support the project team. 

 

What You Will Do: 

  • Utilize MS Word, MS Excel, and MS Outlook to create documents, respond to inquiries and create spreadsheets 

  • Distribute and receive bi-weekly overnight packages from the regional office 

  • Order safety supplies and office supplies 

  • Assist with new hire processing at the job site 

  • Answer job trailer phone, route phone calls, answer general inquiries, take messages, and contact others as requested 

  • Enter production figures into the database 

  • Assist with additional administrative tasks 

  • Maintain common work areas including meeting rooms and break rooms 

  • Maintain a highly organized work area and manage multiple projects simultaneously 

  • Write reports, business correspondence, and project documents 

 

Who You Are: A Profile of Success 

  • High school diploma or general education degree (GED) 

  • One (1) to three (3) months related experience and/or training 

  • Be able to communicate in English via verbal and written communications 

  • Moderate to high level of computer skills in MS Word, MS Excel, and MS Outlook 

  • Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals 

  • Valid driver license for occasional, required travel 

  • Ability to compute rate, ratio, and percent and to draw and interpret bar graphs

Procurement Administrator ( 4 days site based at Tillbury )

Core duties:

  • Track all Comparatives on Ferrovial internal commercial platform (InSite) for approval
  • Monitor client replies for any PO approval submissions not accepted
  • Request New Supplier set up with Finance – ensuring onboarding procedures are carried out to Ferrovial policy
  • Add & remove road worthy vehicles to the Ferrovial Fleet Insurance Database
  • Maintain Asset register
  • Complete the on-hire reporting on InSite for all rental PO’s
  • Update and maintain the project Responsible Procurement tracker to log KPI’s for reporting to Client
  • Maintaining a Supplier List dashboard with key metrics; performance, spend, scope
  • Resolving invoice queries and discrepancies with our suppliers and accounts department
  • Liaise with the Logistics department to ensure vehicle compliance for all deliveries
  • Ensure company systems, procedures and processes are always adhered to
  • Communicate with site teams and other departments in Ferrovial
  • Adopting and promoting Ferrovial Construction UK Vision and Values.

Additional duties as required:

  • Attending meetings with site teams, supply chain, H/O Supply Chain manager & others
  • Working with Procurement Manager to provide Supplier Evaluations
  • Assisting the Buying Team with any other tasks as required

Skills and Competencies:

  • Previous procurement experience – desirable (not mandatory)
  • Good organizational skills and ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment
  • Enjoy working under pressure to meet deadlines
  • Attention to detail
  • Methodical approach to documentation management
  • Good communication skills – verbal and written
  • Familiar with all Microsoft packages, ideally Excel
  • Good IT general knowledge
  • Build and maintain positive relationships within the team and across Ferrovial group companies

Se busca un/a Administrativo/a de Producción organizado/a y eficiente para unirse a nuestro equipo en FERROVIAL CONSTRUCCIÓN, S.A. En este puesto, serás responsable de brindar apoyo administrativo al departamento de producción, asegurando el buen funcionamiento de las operaciones diarias.

Responsabilidades:
* Gestionar la documentación relacionada con la producción, incluyendo órdenes de trabajo, albaranes y facturas.
* Controlar el stock de materiales y gestionar los pedidos a proveedores.
* Registrar y analizar datos de producción, generando informes periódicos.
* Colaborar en la planificación y organización de la producción.
* Atender al teléfono y gestionar el correo electrónico.
* Realizar otras tareas administrativas según se requiera.

Cualificaciones:
* Formación profesional en administración o similar.
* Experiencia previa en un puesto similar, mínimo 10 años, preferiblemente en el sector de la construcción.
* Dominio de herramientas informáticas (Microsoft Office, etc.).
* Capacidad de organización y planificación.
* Habilidades de comunicación y trabajo en equipo.
