Fake Job Offers

We have received messages from users inquiring about fake job offers requesting payment or personal documentation.

These job offers are fraudulent. We will NOT send an email or use unconventional or corporate channels to offer a job.

Therefore, if you receive a job offer via email that appears to be from Ferrovial, it is a fraud.

Beware of false or misleading job offers from people pretending to be recruiting for Ferrovial or any of our subsidiaries. We always conduct a formal recruitment process, holding an interview before making a job offer to anyone. We do not recruit by email, and we do not use online questionnaires.

We always carry out an interview before making a job offer to anyone. If you receive an email offering you a job with us, it is not genuine and you should not respond to it.

How to spot a fake job offer

You should be very suspicious of anyone who contacts you by email to offer you a job. These emails will usually have some of the following features:

  • Ask for your passport or ID details
  • Ask for personal or financial information
  • Ask you to pay money to help
  • Tell you to provide the information quickly
  • Provide a mobile telephone number
  • Come from a Google, Hotmail, Yahoo or other Internet hosted account.

Please, be very careful because sometimes the fraudsters use the photographs, logotypes and names of real people in companies and create fake websites that look very similar to the company’s genuine website in order to commit this type of fraud.

What to do if you get an email offering you a job at Ferrovial

Do not apply to that job offer as all our job offers are managed through our website or job portals.

Please contact your local police service providing them with the details to help them to investigate any fraudulent offers.
