• Supervise and coordinate the activities of field electrical personnel and subcontractors to ensure compliance with project plans, specifications, and safety standards.  

• Provide technical support and guidance to field engineers and electricians, interpreting drawings and resolving field issues.  

• Monitor daily progress, maintain accurate records, and report on work status to the Electrical Superintendent.  

• Assist in planning and scheduling electrical work, ensuring resources are allocated efficiently.  

• Conduct field inspections to verify quality of work and adherence to electrical codes (NEC, IEEE, NEMA, OSHA).  

• Support the implementation of safety policies and procedures, partnering with the Safety department to maintain a safe work environment.  

• Review and approve electrical work performed by subcontractors and self-perform crews.  

• Coordinate with the engineering team to resolve design discrepancies and optimize installation methods.  

• Participate in job start and close meetings, contributing to lessons learned and continuous improvement.  

• Assist in managing material and equipment needs, tracking usage and minimizing waste.  

• Provide coaching, feedback, and training to field staff to promote professional development and high performance.  

• Communicate effectively with project management, suppliers, and other stakeholders to address challenges and update on progress.  

• Perform other duties as assigned by the Electrical Superintendent. 

Who You Are: A Profile of Success 

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or related field preferred; equivalent experience considered.  

• 3+ years of relevant electrical experience in the energy sector (solar/renewables preferred), including at least 2 years in a supervisory or lead role.  

• Strong knowledge of LV, MV, and HV electrical systems, installation practices, and utility interconnection requirements.  

• Experience interpreting and applying NEC, IEEE, NEMA, and OSHA codes and standards.  

• Proficient in reading and interpreting electrical drawings and specifications.  

• Strong organizational, communication, and leadership skills.  

• Proficiency with construction management software (Procore, Blue Beam) and Microsoft Office Suite.  

• Valid driver’s license and willingness to travel as required.
