Are you wanting to get your foot in the door at a fast-growing Company? Webber, an industry leader in construction and infrastructure, is seeking a dynamic Electrical Supervisor to join our team.
Your Role: Driving excellence through technical expertise and innovation
The Electrical Supervisor is responsible for overseeing daily field electrical activities, ensuring work is performed safely, efficiently, and in compliance with project specifications and codes. This role bridges the gap between engineering design and field execution, providing technical guidance to field engineers and electricians, while reporting to the Electrical Superintendent. The Electrical Supervisor will coordinate with project management, subcontractors, and the engineering team to deliver high-quality electrical installations on schedule and within budget.
What You Will Do:

Supervise and coordinate the activities of field electrical personnel and subcontractors to ensure compliance with project plans, specifications, and safety standards.

Provide technical support and guidance to field engineers and electricians, interpreting drawings and resolving field issues.

Monitor daily progress, maintain accurate records, and report on work status to the Electrical Superintendent.

Assist in planning and scheduling electrical work, ensuring resources are allocated efficiently.

Conduct field inspections to verify quality of work and adherence to electrical codes (NEC, IEEE, NEMA, OSHA).

Support the implementation of safety policies and procedures, partnering with the Safety department to maintain a safe work environment.

Review and approve electrical work performed by subcontractors and self-perform crews.

Coordinate with the engineering team to resolve design discrepancies and optimize installation methods.

Participate in job start and close meetings, contributing to lessons learned and continuous improvement.

Assist in managing material and equipment needs, tracking usage and minimizing waste.

Provide coaching, feedback, and training to field staff to promote professional development and high performance.

Communicate effectively with project management, suppliers, and other stakeholders to address challenges and update on progress.

Perform other duties as assigned by the Electrical Superintendent.
Who You Are: A Profile of Success
-
Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or related field preferred; equivalent experience considered.
-
3+ years of relevant electrical experience in the energy sector (solar/renewables preferred), including at least 2 years in a supervisory or lead role.

Strong knowledge of LV, MV, and HV electrical systems, installation practices, and utility interconnection requirements.

Experience interpreting and applying NEC, IEEE, NEMA, and OSHA codes and standards.

Proficient in reading and interpreting electrical drawings and specifications.

Strong organizational, communication, and leadership skills.

Proficiency with construction management software (Procore, Blue Beam) and Microsoft Office Suite.

Valid driver’s license and willingness to travel as required.
