Requirements

- Minimum 8+ years’ experience in procurement and contract management for large-scale infrastructure, construction, or data centre projects.
- Demonstrated experience managing EPC contracts, multi-package procurement, and complex negotiation processes.

Procurement Strategy & Execution

- Negotiate commercial terms, pricing structures, and risk allocation to secure best value and minimize exposure.

Contract Management & Administration
- Draft, review, and negotiate project agreements, ensuring that all terms are aligned with project requirements, corporate standards, and lender expectations.
- Oversee contract execution, performance, and compliance, including management of variations, extensions, and contractual obligations.
- Establish robust contract management frameworks, including change control, performance tracking, reporting, and audit procedures.
Governance, Policies & Procedures
- Develop, document, and implement project-specific procurement and contract management procedures, ensuring alignment with corporate policies, internal governance standards, ESG requirements, and compliance obligations.
- Provide training and guidance to internal stakeholders on procurement and contract management processes to ensure consistent application across the project lifecycle.

Claims & Dispute Management

Stakeholder & Interface Management
- Coordination and collaboration with internal departments (technical, legal, finance, operations) and external stakeholders (contractors, suppliers, advisors, lenders).
- Ensure procurement and contractual activities are fully integrated with financing requirements, including lender reporting, direct agreements, and step-in rights.

We are looking for an Engineering Project Manager with solid experience in the technical management of Data Centre projects. You will be responsible for leading the planning, coordination and supervision of all engineering disciplines involved in the design and construction of critical infrastructure, ensuring compliance with technical standards, deadlines and budgets, and providing support and reporting to the Head of Projects Development.
The ideal candidate will have a strong background in managing large-scale construction projects from a construction angle with focus on data centers, critical infrastructure, and innovative solutions
This role requires hands-on project oversight during the construction phase, the final of the project, and the managing of the ready for services with the customer
Requirements:
- 5 years of experience in construction projects, especially in leadership roles in data centre projects in the construction phase.
- Strong attention to detail, with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and meet tight deadlines.
- Technical & Cost management and planning skills
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams and external stakeholders.

Preferred Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Industrial Engineering, Civil Engineering, Building Construction or related field is ideal.
- Previous experience in the construction sector and specifically in data center projects and / or large tertiary & industrial construction projects where MEP systems play a vital role will be highly valued.
- Exposure and knowledge about operating a data center, and of the project lifecycle
- Strong understanding building regulations, urban planning and environmental conditions and permitting processes incl. associated timescales.
- Proficient in Office 365 package expertise (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, PowerBI)
- Lean Construction knowledge and experience will be valued.
- PMP, PRINCE2 or similar certification (desirable).

Key Responsibilities:
- Responsible for the coordination of all technical activities of the project, as well as the planning, feasibility, evaluation and supervision of works for compliance with applicable codes, construction and transition phases.
- Establish and maintain project management methodologies, tools and templates.
- Reporting to the Head of Projects Development, on the status of the project under development, with details on progress, costs, risks, deviations, change orders, among others.
- Preparation of executive reports and dashboards to support Head of Projects Development.
- Identify risks and propose mitigation plans.
- Coordinate multidisciplinary teams on site in the development of project (engineering, general contractor, contractors, IT, operations, administration).

- Manage the commissioning phases making the coordination with GC, and other companies related with it, in order to ensure the deadlines of each.
- Ensure that the construction is developed within best practices related to land and sustainability due diligence and environmental compliance.

The ideal candidate will have a background in developing grid connection electrical infrastructure. Panzer power & utilities manager will oversee the design and construction of HV/MV lines and substations, ensuring alignment with project timelines and energization strategy. This role is critical to ensuring alignment with project timelines and the energisation strategy, requiring close coordination with stakeholders, contractors, and utilities. This includes liaising with third parties such as stakeholders, distribution companies, and public administration to define next steps, establish timelines, and anticipate potential blockers.
Strong leadership, technical expertise, and communication skills are essential to succeed in this role.
Additionally, the candidate will work closely with the Energy and Utilities team within Digital Infrastructure, actively supporting the Strategy and Business Development team.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Industrial, Electrical, Mining or Energy Engineering, Civil Engineering or a related field. A master’s degree can be an advantage.
- Advance knowledge of high and medium voltage electrical systems.
- Strong understanding of Spanish Electric System, its regulations and particularities as well as possessing the ability and proactiveness to deal with other countries´, i.e. Poland, USA, etc.
- Proven track record and experience working with DSOs, TSP, suppliers and utilities companies for at least 3 years.
- Proven experience and knowledge in transmission/distribution planning applications, analysis and design.
- Experience in the design, permitting and construction of HV/MW substations and underground power lines.
- A deep understanding of power & utilities operating model and key business and technical challenges faced by utilities in current fast changing environment
- Experience in power line concessions and or business consulting is appreciated.
- Good understanding of Interconnection Agreements drafting
- Previous experience working with data center clients (e.g., hyperscale, colocation providers, or large enterprises) will be highly valued
- Ability to analyze complex situations, identify strategic opportunities for Ferrovial and develop actionable plans for pursuing these opportunities

Key Responsibilities
- Act as the energy& utilities project lead of the new data center from concept to delivery, ensuring alignment with project goals and business objectives.
- Coordinate with engineers, contractors and other stakeholders to ensure alignment on project scope, objectives, and design.
- Develop and execute management plans, including resource management, cost estimation, scheduling and quality control.
- Supervise the design and construction of power & utilities infra, ensuring they adhere to best practices and timely and budget-aligned delivery of the facility.
- Conduct regular progress meetings and maintain up-to-date reports on project status, challenges, and milestones.
- Support, overview and manage complex, cross-functional HV infrastructure projects from site selection, permitting and contract execution, and keep project stakeholders informed to contribute to the performance of the team, building trust and respect in all working relationships

We are seeking an Energy Plant Design Manager to join our Project Management Office (PMO) team. The role will assist with the bidding and delivery of airport projects.
An Energy Plant Design Manager leads multidisciplinary engineering teams to deliver optimized designs for energy plants, ensuring technical excellence, risk management, and client satisfaction. This role demands extensive experience, technical expertise, and leadership capabilities in managing complex projects across various energy generation types.

Duties:
· Lead and manage both internal and external engineers within MEP disciplines and coordinate design activities amongst other design disciplines, Construction, external consultants, and Clients.
· Makes technical assumptions, thinks independently to complete assigned work, and draws engineering conclusions.
· Provide the best technical solutions to optimize the design, minimizing quantities and/or construction time, while all technical requirements are met.
· Due diligence and review of Energy Plant and MEP design submittals provided by subconsultants and clients, performing quality control reviews, checking the design with independent analyses and models.
· Monitor and report progress against design schedule. Review and approve tasks to ensure deadlines are met.
· Defend solutions in front of the Client achieving the approval of the design.
· Be vigilant and anticipate technical risks and design strategies to protect the company against those technical risks.
· Perform leadership activities, including mentorship and guidance of junior employees, showing them the path to increase their technical level. Offer to all engineers in that discipline the most advanced technical knowledge and cutting-edge technologies.
· Coordinate with Clients, Engineering consultants and other stakeholders to discuss on and solve design and construction related topics.
· Work in a multidisciplinary environment, actively communicating with the rest of the Team also involved in the design and construction works to identify needs and evaluate alternative solutions.
· Estimates of bill of quantities (Including generation of quantities and performing Quality checks on quantities by consultants).
· Other duties as assigned involved with energy plant design as natural gas and nuclear generation, utility power, gas and diesel generators, back-up energy, etc…
Qualification:
· Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical or Energy Engineering required obtained from an accredited U.S. college or university, preferably one of the premier civil engineering programs in the U.S.
· MSE in Energy or Mechanical engineering.
· Registration as a Professional Engineer (P.E.) in at least one state.
· 10+ years’ experience in relevant Energy Plant design projects. At least 5 of these years in the Project Manager/Design Manager position with project management responsibility on large complex multidisciplinary aviation projects.
· Knowledge and practical experience with MEP design software
· Strong computer skills and proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, Bluebeam, Doc controller software, and PowerPoint.
· Demonstrated qualities of leadership and hard work.
· Ability to read and interpret construction documents, drawings and 3D models, and specifications
· Must possess excellent verbal and written communication skills
