About The Role
IT Infrastructure & Communications Specialist to coordinate, implement, and manage the technological infrastructure and communication systems required for the proper operation of our workplaces. This role will play a key part in supporting business operations through IT and OT technologies, ensuring seamless connectivity, efficient service management, and continuous improvement of IT/OT services.
Key Responsibilities

Define, implement, and improve the technological infrastructure and communications across the company’s sites.

Coordinate and provide technical support to business projects related to IT and OT.
-
Analyse and propose technological solutions, equipment, and communications to ensure the operational performance of the sites.

Manage corporate communications across sites (provisioning, modifications, decommissioning, and service optimization).
-
Manage and follow up on technological requests and incidents related to site services.
-
Administer the inventory of corporate mobile lines, including provisioning, deactivation, assignment, and usage optimization.
-
Manage and keep updated the inventory of IT and technological equipment across sites (computers, network devices, and other assets).
-
Coordinate with telecom operators and technology providers in Spain and other countries to ensure service availability and quality.

Collaborate with site managers to ensure the proper functioning of technological services.

Participate in the implementation of technological improvements and digital transformation initiatives related to infrastructure and communications.
Qualifications
-
Experience in technological infrastructure and communications within corporate environments with multiple sites.
-
Knowledge of LAN/WAN networks, WiFi, IP telephony, VPN, and network segmentation (VLAN).
-
Experience in managing communication services and coordinating with telecom operators.

Ability to diagnose and resolve technical incidents related to networks and technological infrastructure.

Knowledge of IP addressing, subnetting, and network protocols (HTTP, HTTPS, DNS, DHCP, FTP).

Experience in managing IT asset and technology inventories.

University degree

Hihg level of english

Minimum of 3 years of experience in similar projects

I-77 Mobility Partners LLC is financing, developing, designing, constructing, operating and maintaining the 26-mile I-77 Express project as part of a public-private partnership with the North Carolina Department of Transportation. The tolled express lanes run adjacent to the general-purpose lanes on I-77 between uptown Charlotte and Mooresville. Job Description:
As a technical project manager (TPM) you will be responsible for planning, executing, and overseeing technology-driven projects to ensure they are completed on time, within budget, and aligned with business goals. Additionally, you will serve as a liaison between technical teams and stakeholders, defining project deliverables and roles, manage budgets and resources, mitigate risks, and report on progress. This role requires a blend of technical knowledge and project management skills to successfully deliver complex projects from initiation to closure.
Key Responsibilities:

Deeply understand the tolling system, identify technical root causes, translate findings into clear actionable items, and define the specific steps required to drive timely and effective resolution.

Lead, plan, and oversee multifaceted Tolling projects that integrate both hardware and software, ensuring alignment with organizational goals and deadlines.

Engage deeply with technical teams across development and operations, contributing to detailed discussions to assess risks and monitor overall project health.

Bridge technical and business teams, translating complex details into actionable plans for all parties involved.

Take full ownership of preventive and corrective maintenance plan by continuously ensuring technical coverage, ensuring adherence to manufacturer’s requirements, and driving the timely execution of all preventive and corrective maintenance activities.
Stakeholder Collaboration
-
Work closely with different vendors to uphold standards in processes, architecture, technology stack, and quality assurance across cybersecurity, data management, cloud services, technology, and DevOps.

Serve as the liaison with concession Operations Team incorporating feedback during the development and ensuring solutions meet operational needs during the deployment and operation.

Oversee and interface with insource and outsource vendors responsible for the full software development lifecycle, including ongoing operational support.
Required Qualifications
-
Bachelor of Science degree in IT, Computer Science, Mechanical Engineering, Telecommunications Engineering, or relevant Business Degree. Postgraduate education desired

Extensive experience managing large-scale technology projects in the transportation and ITS industry or similar technical environments.

Knowledge in Central systems and Roadside components employed in the ITS, Tolling and transportation industry.
-
Deep technical knowledge spanning cloud infrastructure (Azure preferred), DevOps practices, software/hardware architecture, IoT, and sensing technologies.

Demonstrated ability to lead cross-functional teams and foster effective collaboration among multiple stakeholders.
-
Exceptional communication, problem-solving, and risk management skills.
-
Experience working in regulated environments where compliance with SOX and RAMP is required is welcomed but not necessary.
