Buscamos un Jefe de Obra de Edificación para nuestra sede en León. El candidato ideal supervisará y gestionará proyectos de construcción, asegurando su ejecución en tiempo, presupuesto y calidad.

Position Summary
Assist in managing the day-to-day operations to ensure the standards of the contract are met in a cost effective, safe and efficient manner. Assist in preparing and implementing asset management and maintenance programs in accordance with approved operating guidelines and budget… Ensure compliance with Webber Infrastructure Global Standards.
Primary Duties and Responsibilities
- Collaborate with the Contract Manager to provide structure, support, administrative systems and methodologies to meet contract obligations in relation to quality, safety, environmental aspects, contractor agreements, procurement, cost control, scheduling and estimating management processes and procedures.
- Establish and leverage effective relationships with the client, subcontractors and suppliers.
- Prepare monthly reports (OPS, HSE, Change Order Summary, Extra Work)
- Monitor deliverables schedule; Ensure legislation and regulatory compliance; Monitor daily operations to ensure contractual compliance.
- Facilitate the development of training in Quality Assurance, Health & Safety, Environmental aspects & Continual Improvement requirements.
- Make recommendations to the Contract Manager to ensure that, in implementing the management system, appropriate resources and training is provided.
- Work closely with other business groups (including Asset Management, Operations, & HSE Group) within Webber Infrastructure to ensure governance and key business processes are implemented, accessible and continually improved upon to ensure best practice within the business.
- Establish, implement and monitor the expected outcomes of the HSE Hazard Register.
- Support Operations group with incident & near miss investigations and correcting identified deficiencies and/or actions.
- Ensure governance processes are implemented across the business unit to guarantee HSE and other key business processes, regulations and legislation requirements are understood, implemented and monitored.
- Report as required statistical information to the HSE Manager on at least a monthly basis.
- Comply with the requirements of the Global Management System and provide input and proactive participation into its review.
- Development of Industry/Site procedures and documents to meet with requirements of Webber Infrastructure Global Standards and contractual requirements. Ensure all new contracts/sites are addressed by the management system.
- Ensure wherever practicable, operating procedures and system documents are uniform and are utilized at all levels.
- Act as designated representative in all quality related matters for the operations.
- Participate in the continuous improvement process. (Changes that could reduce cost, increase productivity or improve quality, safety & environmental practices are actively encouraged).
- Maintain high-level customer satisfaction and strong relationships with all key working personnel.
- Foster and promote an attitude of continuous improvement and encourage the use of continuous improvement concepts in the workplace.
- Report monthly on the status and system performance of the Group to Manager, and Industry & Site Managers as necessary.

Alamo NEX Construction, LLC is a part of the Ferrovial Group in Texas. In 2021, the Texas Department of Transportation (TxDOT) selected Alamo NEX Construction, LLC, a joint venture between Ferrovial Construction Texas, LLC and DBW, LLC (both Ferrovial Group subsidiaries), to complete the Interstate 35 (I-35) NEX Central Project. Job Description:
Interconnection and Transmission Director
Reporting to the Head of Energy Development, the Interconnection and Transmission Director leads the interconnection and transmission strategy for a utility-scale renewable and BESS portfolio, overseeing greenfield origination, M&A/JV technical diligence, interconnection execution, and grid-compliant design. This role owns technical risk management across ISO/RTO and non-ISO jurisdictions, drives optimized and bankable transmission/interconnection solutions and provides senior-level leadership to internal teams and external advisors through interconnection application, study, and agreement negotiation milestones through notice-to-proceed and into operations.
Responsibilities
- Provide technical guidance and review during greenfield, M&A, and JV diligence to ensure grid transmission and connection risks are mitigated or eliminated.
- Own interconnection and transmission strategy, governance, and decision-making across the development portfolio, including prioritization, resourcing, budgets, schedules, and executive reporting.
- Work with, manage, and coordinate project, business unit, and company priorities and goals to align interconnection and transmission execution with broader strategic objectives.
- Define transmission and interconnection design to reduce cost and construction duration while proactively identifying, quantifying, and mitigating technical, permitting, schedule, and constructability risks; specify the best technical solution based on asset requirements.
- Provide technical leadership for BESS integration including sizing and configuration impacts on interconnection studies, reactive/voltage support strategy, protection and control philosophy, compliance requirements, and deployment of grid-forming and grid-enhancing technologies where applicable.
- Carry out technical due diligence and risk assessment on interconnection and transmission reports and infrastructure.
- Carry out inspections for feasibility checks and alignment with the project requirements.
- Track and prioritize all interconnection and transmission applications, studies, deposits, and payments; maintain a risk register for queue position, milestones, readiness gaps, and cost exposure, and drive mitigation actions with internal teams and consultants.
- Lead end-to-end market interconnection application strategy and execution (including queue strategy, study management, model validation, and milestone readiness) across ERCOT, SPP, MISO, WECC, SERC and other applicable regions, proactively managing technical, regulatory, schedule, and cost risks through each study phase.
- Ensure that authorization documentation for interconnection requests and technical approvals is accurately prepared and submitted on time, reducing regulatory, schedule, and rework risk.
- Coordinate preparation of technical documentation for transmission and/or interconnection projects, ensuring technical consistency and audit-ready records to reduce commercial, claims, and compliance risk.
- Manage Technical and Legal Advisors and Consultants with clear scope, deliverables, quality standards, and timelines to reduce technical, schedule, and cost risk.
- Maintain relationships with DNO/TSO, ISO/RTO, and transmission owners to support grid applications and study progression, coordinating and directing external consultants as needed.
- Lead and manage, together with the Construction department, negotiations and development of EPC / ICP Contract Technical Appendices and Major Equipment Technical Specifications, including managing contractors and consultants to ensure scope clarity, quality, and schedule adherence.
- Serve as primary technical counterpart for ISO/RTOs, transmission owners, and counterparties through Generator Interconnection Agreement (GIA) and related agreement negotiations (e.g., construction, cost allocation, reimbursement, network upgrades), aligning commercial, legal, and technical positions to optimize risk allocation and bankability.
- Interact and support construction and businesses areas and serve as (PMQ) Person Most Qualified during interconnection and transmission discussions and activities.
- Support or help manage outside consultants/contractors with the operation and maintenance of FEI owned or constructed plants by providing grid expertise to the Asset Manager and O&M team managers, resolving compliance issues and reducing curtailment, reliability, and availability risks.
Requirements
- Engineering degree related to electrical power systems and/or electrical engineering.
- Candidates with experience power flow/voltage and stability simulations in PSSE, or similar, will be given priority.
- Hands-on experience with BESS (standalone and hybrid), including interconnection study considerations, inverter-based resource performance, and applicable grid code/compliance requirements.
- Experience with inverter-based resource capabilities and advanced grid support solutions, including grid-forming inverters and grid-enhancing technologies (GETs) (e.g., dynamic line rating, power flow control devices/FACTS) and their impacts to interconnection studies and compliance.
- 10+ years of progressive experience in interconnection, transmission planning, or grid integration with demonstrated leadership of cross-functional teams and direct management of contractors/consultants delivering interconnection studies, modeling, transmission design, and owner’s engineer support; prior experience in utility-scale renewables and BESS preferred.
- Demonstrated ability to identify, quantify, and mitigate interconnection and transmission risks across the project lifecycle (technical, regulatory, schedule, cost, counterparty, and operational), and to communicate risk tradeoffs clearly to executive stakeholders.
- Proven ability to work in multiple interconnection jurisdictions with IAs (Interconnection Applications) and MMAs(Material Modification Assessment) applications.
- Direct experience leading interconnection applications, study phases, and project advancement through executed interconnection agreements within ERCOT, SPP, MISO, and regions within WECC and SERC; includes queue strategy, model submissions, study dispute resolution, and milestone management.
- Experience with TSR/TSA process as week as the ability to manage consultants and contractors with these activities
- Demonstrated ability to negotiate and implement Generator Interconnection Agreements (GIAs) and related commercial/technical agreements (e.g., reimbursement, network upgrades, construction and cost allocation), partnering effectively with Legal, Commercial, and external counterparties.
- Proven experience and knowledge in transmission planning and design, including power flow, short circuit, stability, reactive power/voltage support, protection & controls interfaces, and substation/line conceptual design development.
- Proficiency in Basis Risk analysis, Pro-Mod, and balancing, and ATS availability analysis and procurement.
- Proven FERC knowledge and experience
- Candidates with experience of working directly for DNOs and/or other IPP are preferred. Familiar with DNO and TSO standards.
- Candidates with experience in the design and construction of HV stations and power lines will be preferred, both overhead and underground.
- Experience in power line concessions and or business consulting is appreciated.
- Good understanding of interconnection Connection Agreements.
- Experience in projects in America, Europe and Australia will be valued.
- Available to travel as per projects/opportunities needs.
