Job Description:
Key responsibilities
- Lead and manage BIM and Asset Data delivery activities across Ferrovial BAM Joint Venture, ensuring alignment with HS2 Information Management Requirements (IMR), Works Information and ISO 19650 / PAS 1192 standards.
- Coordinate digital deliverables across Design JVs, design subcontractors, and supply chain partners to ensure consistency, quality, and interoperability of BIM and asset data.
- Manage the development and maintenance of federated 3D models for Track and associated systems, ensuring effective spatial coordination with adjacent disciplines (Civils, M&E, Rail Systems, etc.) and early identification of clashes and constraints. Drive assessment of any issues to determine course of action and resolution (internally and with the supply chain), to support the overall design and construction delivery programme.
- Facilitate the integration of datasets and model information across FBRS teams to enable efficient 4D (time), 5D (cost), and quantity take-off applications, supporting planning, commercial, and construction functions.
- Lead the management and self-delivery of quantity take-off from BIM models and asset data, coordinating it with the supply chain, in close collaboration with the Design Director and Lead Engineering Director.
- Ensure compliance with HS2 CDE (ProjectWise) workflows and promote efficient model and data management practices throughout all design and construction stages.
- Plan and manage asset information delivery, and ensure readiness for digital handover, in line with the HS2 Asset Information Model (AIM) requirements.
- Support the Information Management Lead in developing and maintaining the BIM Execution Plan (BEP) and related procedures, ensuring consistency across the design and delivery teams.
- Manage and mentor the BIM and asset data team, fostering upskilling and alignment with best practices in digital engineering, data quality, and integration.
- Collaborate closely with the Design Integration, Technical Assurance, GIS, and Construction Management teams to ensure that BIM and data output contribute directly to delivery efficiency and programme assurance.
- Liaise with HS2 and Alliance partners to align data structures, coding systems, and reporting formats, ensuring progressive assurance and acceptance of information deliverables.
- Drive continuous improvement and innovation in BIM workflows, data visualisation and analytics, including the use of Power BI and other data-driven tools to support decision-making and reporting.
- Support the client with identifying change, risk and opportunities and constantly striving for efficiencies and cost savings.
- Support the Information Management Lead and Lead Engineering Director in the commercial management of change and in ensuring commercial awareness of the same across BIM and asset data teams
- Contribute to assessing potential impacts of design or data changes on cost and programme, providing evidence and analysis through model-based quantities, dashboards and information outputs
Management of subordinate roles
- BIM Engineers, Asset Data Manager and potentially Data Analyst developing Power BI dashboards and analytics tools. Programme and Information coordination
Programme and Information Coordination
- Lead coordination of BIM and asset data-related submissions to HS2, ensuring progressive assurance and delivery of information in line with lifecycle stage gates and contract milestones.
- Chair and document BIM coordination meetings with the design team, supply chain, and Alliance members.
- Track and report progress of BIM deliverables, asset data submissions, and related KPIs, ensuring transparency and early issue resolution.
- Support the preparation and validation of digital deliverables for assurance reviews and handover packages.
Key Skills and qualifications
- Degree in Engineering, Construction Management, or related field.
- Extensive experience in BIM coordination and asset data management on large infrastructure or rail projects.
- Strong working knowledge of ISO 19650 / PAS 1192-2 & -3, HS2 IMR, ProjectWise, and associated digital standards.
- Proficiency in relevant BIM and data tools (e.g. Bentley, Revit, Navisworks, Synchro, Power BI).
- Experience managing multi-disciplinary BIM coordination with supply chain and design partners.
- Experience in leading model-based quantity take-off in multi-disciplinary, large civil projects
- Understanding of asset information modelling (AIM), data schema, and handover requirements for major clients.
- Strong analytical and data integration skills, with ability to link datasets to support 4D/5D applications.
- Excellent communication, leadership, and collaboration skills, with ability to work effectively across interfaces and disciplines.
- Demonstrated ability to mentor teams and promote a culture of digital excellence and innovation.
- Focus on efficiency and driving delivery. Practical experience of harmonising design and digital delivery
Work Location:
- London/Birmingham. Attend weekly meetings with the broader design, systems safety and construction teams and client in Birmingham / London.

Mission
The successful candidate will support the origination, development, and closing of opportunities that enable the investment and execution of energy infrastructure projects, with a focus on transmission lines, renewable generation and battery storage systems. He/She will contribute to the preparation of bids and investment proposals managing the interaction with a broad range of stakeholders – including strategic partners, providers, clients, advisors, regulatory bodies, energy market operators, etc. —to help secure new business opportunities in the Australian energy market.
A solid understanding of the electricity sector is essential, including technical knowledge of market dynamics, grid infrastructure, permitting processes, and the operational environment of transmission assets. Experience with public-private partnerships (PPPs), M&A, and project finance will be highly valued.
Responsibilities

Qualifications

Buscamos un/a Jefe/a de Estudios de Edificación para unirse a nuestro equipo en Tenerife. La persona seleccionada será responsable de la elaboración y gestión de ofertas de proyectos de edificación, asegurando la competitividad y viabilidad técnica y económica de las propuestas.
Funciones:
– Preparación de ofertas en procesos de licitación de grandes proyectos de edificación en Canarias, incluyendo:
– Estudio y comprensión de todos los documentos de la licitación, incluyendo posibles visitas al lugar de ejecución.
– Estudio y valoración económica del coste del proyecto. Relación con subcontratistas y cadena de suministro.
– Análisis técnico del proyecto y de las soluciones y sistemas constructivos empleados y elaboración de propuestas de optimización y mejora, y en su caso, detección de errores del proyecto.
– Confección de informes, memorias u otros documentos técnicos.
– Coordinación del desarrollo de la documentación técnica a preparar en la licitación, junto con el resto de equipos que intervienen en la preparación de la oferta: departamentos internos (Dirección Técnica, Financiera, Jurídica, Aprovisionamiento, etc.), Ingenierías y Asesores externos, socios de UTE, estableciendo la estrategia de la oferta, estudio económico, planificación de obra, análisis de riesgos, supervisión de documentos y entrega final. atendiendo a los distintos apartados:

Requisitos:
– Formación: Arquitecto/a Técnico/a o Ingeniero/a de Edificación. Se valorará formación complementaria en gestión de proyectos o presupuestos.
– Experiencia: Mínimo 5 años de experiencia demostrable en un puesto similar, preferiblemente en edificación singular u hospitalaria, dentro de empresas constructoras de primer nivel.
– Conocimientos Técnicos:
- Dominio avanzado de programas de presupuestación (Presto o similar).
- Conocimiento de software CAD (AutoCAD) y herramientas BIM.
- Experiencia en el manejo de Office 365 (especialmente Excel).
- Sólidos conocimientos en normativa de edificación vigente.
– Habilidades: Capacidad de análisis y síntesis, proactividad, orientación a resultados, habilidad de negociación, comunicación efectiva y capacidad para trabajar bajo presión.

DESCRIPTION
Reporting directly to the Head of the Geotechnical Department with Engineering Services and to the Design Manager at Project level, the Geotechnical Design Manager will:
- Manage a small team of Project Geotechnical Engineers during the Tender phase, the design phase and the construction phase.
- Support the conceptual design, engineering analysis, procurement and construction of major infrastructure projects, including but not limited to highways, bridges, tunnels, underground works and any other heavy civil works, from a geotechnical perspective.
- Supervision of technical work performed by others pertaining to solving geotechnical design problems and high-level review of design calculations
- Check and review routine geotechnical study proposals and reports prepared by others, including proposal for new field investigations during Tender phase or construction phase (geotechnical borings, field testing works, geophysical investigations, laboratory testing… etc)
- Review of specialized geotechnical reports (with special emphasis on roadway works), including but not limited to ground characterization, foundations of bridges or other minor structures, temporary support of excavations, required ground improvement, embankment and slope design, subgrade design under pavement, retaining wall design, sound wall foundation design, soil and rock reinforcement, design of underground excavations, etc.
- Analyze ground movement predictions, construction impact assessment reports, and strategies for mitigation of geotechnical risks.
- Propose and analyze instrumentation systems for monitoring ground movement and its implementation.
- Development of an schedule for all activities associated with geotechnical works, such as site investigations and geotechnical design deliverables
- At Project level, provide support to the design team led by the Design Manager; from tender/concept design through design basis and detailed design phases.
- Discuss with the Client / Owner and with the Designer’s geotechnical specialists on particular geotechnical topics. Support the collaborative efforts with all the parties to solve complex geotechnical issues, related to modeling, soil structure interaction, ground improvement, risk mitigation and other topics.
- Ensure all geotechnical designs are in accordance with the Ferrovial Group’s standards, the Contract requirements and the applicable geotechnical standards.
- Provide technical input to the Risk matrix for those risks of a geotechnical origin, as well as to other documents to be internally developed by Ferrovial at Project level during Tender stage.
- Ensure that geotechnical principles and analyses are appropriately understood and applied in the design, including those related to complex soil and structure interaction modelling.
- Review the work of more junior geotechnical engineers and specialized Consultants engaged in the project development, engineering and design.
- Support the efforts for creating analytical two and three-dimensional models and also FEM models, when necessary, under the direction from the Design Manager.
- Ensure that geotechnical inputs to the BOQ are precise, well defined, back-up is clearly explained, and there are no relevant concepts missing. Assist other departments when necessary to explain and address the rationale or fundamentals for such inputs.
- Support the negotiation of the geotechnical engineering fees, the definition of geotechnical scope of works and other related contractual issues with the Geotechnical Consultants.
- Support the Construction Technical Office, as applicable during the construction phase, for geotechnical related matters.
- At Project level, support the hiring process of other Geotechnical Engineers who may be required to be engaged during the Detailed Design phase as part of the design Team.

DESIRED SKILLS & EXPERIENCE
- Master’s degree from an accredited university in geotechnical or civil engineering.
- 15+ years of experience in design management and expertise on complex civil infrastructure projects, including deep excavations, embankments, earthworks, subgrade, retaining walls, deep foundations, ground improvement, etc. More experience will be a plus.
- Previous experience with Alternative Delivery Projects (D&B Projects, P3 Projects).
- Ability to work in a fast-track, high-pressure construction environment.
- Professional Engineering License in GA or the goal to get the License within the first year.
- Project Management certification is desirable.
- Sound knowledge on ground (soil/rock) characterization, field exploration and laboratory testing methods.
- Skills in geotechnical and soil-structure modeling software (2D and 3D).
- Ability to work within the Engineering Services Team and within the Project Design Team with other colleagues.
- Assertive, with strong analytical and communication skills in English

FDI has acquired a land plot for the development of a Data Centre, and we are seeking an experienced and strategic Project Manager to overview, coordinate and manage the project, construction as well as to provide direction, analysis and resolution of engineering challenges for our future facility in Madrid.
The role may require assistance to FDI Projects Development Team within the Business Development and Strategy related activities.
We are seeking an experienced Procurement & Contracts Manager to lead the procurement strategy, contract negotiation, and commercial management for the delivery of a major data centre project in Madrid. Working on behalf of the developer responsible for the development, delivery, and operation of the asset, you will play a central role in structuring, negotiating, and managing all key project contracts while ensuring compliance with financing requirements and corporate governance standards.
The ideal candidate will combine deep expertise in procurement and contract management with strong procedural discipline, the ability to implement governance frameworks, and hands-on experience in managing variations, claims, and disputes throughout the project lifecycle.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in engineering, law, construction management, business, or related field (Master’s degree or MBA preferred).
- Minimum 8+ years’ experience in procurement and contract management for large-scale infrastructure, construction, or data centre projects.
- Demonstrated experience managing EPC contracts, multi-package procurement, and complex negotiation processes.
- Proven track record of claims and dispute management on large capital projects.
- Experience with project-financed infrastructure and lender requirements is highly desirable.
- Strong knowledge of standard contract forms (e.g., FIDIC, NEC, bespoke EPC) and European procurement practices.
- Fluent in English; Spanish proficiency strongly preferred.

- Develop and implement a comprehensive procurement strategy for the data centre project, ensuring alignment with project objectives, technical requirements, delivery schedules, and financing conditions.
- Lead the tendering, evaluation, and selection process for all contracts, including all ancillary work packages.
- Negotiate commercial terms, pricing structures, and risk allocation to secure best value and minimize exposure.
- Coordinate procurement timelines with project finance, design, and delivery teams to ensure seamless project execution.
Contract Management & Administration
- Draft, review, and negotiate project agreements, ensuring that all terms are aligned with project requirements, corporate standards, and lender expectations.
- Oversee contract execution, performance, and compliance, including management of variations, extensions, and contractual obligations.
- Establish robust contract management frameworks, including change control, performance tracking, reporting, and audit procedures.
Governance, Policies & Procedures
- Develop, document, and implement project-specific procurement and contract management procedures, ensuring alignment with corporate policies, internal governance standards, ESG requirements, and compliance obligations.
- Provide training and guidance to internal stakeholders on procurement and contract management processes to ensure consistent application across the project lifecycle.
- Continuously review and update procedures to reflect project evolution, regulatory changes, and best practices.
Claims & Dispute Management
- Proactively identify and manage potential claims, variations, and contractual disputes to minimize risk exposure and maintain project delivery momentum.
- Lead the preparation, assessment, and negotiation of claims in coordination with legal, technical, and commercial teams.
- Maintain comprehensive records and documentation to support claim positions and defend the company’s commercial interests.
- Engage with contractors and advisors to resolve disputes amicably where possible, escalating issues strategically when necessary.
Stakeholder & Interface Management
- Coordination and collaboration with internal departments (technical, legal, finance, operations) and external stakeholders (contractors, suppliers, advisors, lenders).
- Ensure procurement and contractual activities are fully integrated with financing requirements, including lender reporting, direct agreements, and step-in rights.
- Support senior management and investors with regular reporting on procurement progress, contract performance, risk exposure, and claims status.
