Sobre el puesto.

Buscamos incorporar un/a Coordinador/a de Prevención de Riesgos Laborales para reforzar la gestión preventiva en nuestras oficinas centrales. Su principal misión será coordinar las actividades del Servicio de Prevención Propio, colaborando estrechamente con el Jefe del Servicio para garantizar el cumplimiento de los requisitos legales y corporativos, impulsando la integración de la prevención en la operativa diaria y promoviendo una cultura preventiva sólida en la organización.

Principales Responsabilidades.

  • Participar en la elaboración, actualización y mejora del Plan de Prevención de Riesgos Laborales.
  • Coordinar y/o realizar la Evaluación de Riesgos y la Planificación de la Actividad Preventiva, asegurando su correcta implantación y seguimiento.
  • Garantizar el cumplimiento de la normativa legal aplicable (comunitaria, estatal y autonómica), así como de los estándares internos de la compañía.
  • Asesorar en la comunicación y difusión de los riesgos a los trabajadores.
  • Gestionar e impartir formación en materia de PRL (artículo 19 Ley 31/1995), en coordinación con el área de Formación.
  • Promover la sensibilización y cultura preventiva dentro de la organización.
  • Colaborar en la revisión y mejora continua del Sistema de Gestión de Seguridad y Salud (SGSST).
  • Participar en los procesos de consulta, comunicación y participación de los empleados en materia preventiva.
  • Investigar incidentes y no conformidades, elaborando informes y proponiendo medidas correctoras.
  • Reportar información relevante al Servicio de Prevención para su seguimiento y análisis centralizado.
  • Representar a la compañía ante organismos públicos y privados en materia de seguridad y salud (cuando aplique).
  • Realizar o coordinar evaluaciones higiénicas y ergonómicas en entorno de oficina.
  • Coordinar la actividad con el Servicio de Prevención Ajeno y revisar los informes emitidos.
  • Elaborar informes de seguimiento y reporting mediante herramientas como Power BI, Excel o Cority.
  • Colaborar con el área de Contratación en la preparación de documentación preventiva para licitaciones (en español e inglés).
  • Participar en auditorías internas y contribuir al mantenimiento de certificaciones (ISO 45001).

Requisitos

  • Titulación universitaria en Ingeniería o Grado equivalente.
  • Máster en Prevención de Riesgos Laborales con las tres especialidades (Seguridad, Higiene y Ergonomía/Psicosociología).
  • Experiencia mínima de 5 años en gestión de PRL, preferiblemente en entorno de obra.
  • Nivel de inglés mínimo B2 (oral y escrito).
  • Manejo avanzado de herramientas de análisis y reporting (Excel, Power BI, Cority u otras)

Design Quality Control Engineer 

 

Position Summary: 

Assist the Professional Services Quality Control Manager (PSQCM) with duties to cause the methods and procedures contained in the approved Professional Services Quality Management Plan to be implemented and followed by the Design staff in the performance of the work and any other required professional services QC tasks at the project level. 

Job Duties 

  • Assist in establishing, implementing, and maintaining quality control procedures and quality review standards 

  • Assist in updating the Professional Services Quality management Plan (PSQMP) as needed or as required by the contract.  

  • Assist in providing training and workshops to all personnel involved in or affected by the PSQMP. 

  • Assist in overseeing the implementation of the PSQMP. 

  • Assist in ensuring that the methods and procedures contained in the approved PSQMP are implemented and followed in the performance of the Work 

  • Assist in ensuring accuracy, completion, and quality in submittals to TxDOT and Governmental Entities. 

  • Assist in certifying that the design Submittal packages, and design changes meet the requirements of the PSQMP and Contract Documents.  

  • Assist in providing TxDOT and the Professional Services Quality Assurance Firm (PSQAF) quality records documenting the QC review of the 3-D design model of the Submittals. 

  • Assist in the coordination with the Project Technical Office management of drawings and any revisions. 

  • Assist in the process of incorporating all changes made through the RFI process in the Record Drawings. 

  • Assist in coordinating with TxDOT and the PSQAF regarding Professional Services Quality Control.  

  • Assist in the coordination works with the Professional Services Quality Assurance Firm (PSQAF) 

  • Assist in monitoring the Quality Control of the project according to the Quality Management Plan.  

  • Assist in performing audits. 

  • Assist in completing the Quality Management System Review Report.  

  • Assist in preparing required quality-related reports. 

  • Work in a multidisciplinary environment, actively communicating with the rest of the Ferrovial Construction-Webber 99 personnel involved in the design and construction works, to identify needs and evaluate process improvements

Job Requirements: 

  • Required Bachelor’s degree in civil engineering, Construction Science or equivalent 

  • Professional Engineer (PE) licensure required at hire or to be obtained shortly thereafter. 

  • 3 or more years of experience in related role or in heavy civil engineering capacity 

  • Preferred ASQ certification and Professional Engineer licensure 

  • Preferred familiar with ISO 9001 concepts 

  • Valuable computer skills and proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, Bluebeam Revu, PowerPoint, databases, and document control systems

Alamo NEX Construction, LLC is a part of the Ferrovial Group in Texas. In 2021, the Texas Department of Transportation (TxDOT) selected Alamo NEX Construction, LLC, a joint venture between Ferrovial Construction Texas, LLC and DBW, LLC (both Ferrovial Group subsidiaries), to complete the Interstate 35 (I-35) NEX Central Project. Your Role: Driving excellence through technical expertise and innovation 

The Site Safety Coordinator will be responsible for providing safety coverage in the field and coordination with sub-contractors and their safety personnel for work on the project site. This individual shall assist the Site Safety Manager in managing the site safety program. The Site Safety Coordinator will be based on the jobsite and shall assist The FWE site safety team ensure compliance with company safety policy and processes as well as federal/state guidelines. 

 

What You Will Do: 

  • This is a field first position meaning much of the time (75%) shall be in the field, evaluating workers and performing walk throughs to evaluate the areas for safety hazards. 

  • Report these observations into the online SMS. 

  • Assist as a member of any incident investigation that is required to be performed.  

  • Assist with reporting requirements for incidents including documenting incident in the SMS.     

  • Ensure a "Safety First" attitude throughout the project from all levels of management and operations. 

  • Maintain inventories of safety supplies and report this weekly to the Safety Manager. 

  • Submitting daily reports of all safety activities involved with to the Safety Manager. 

  • Assist with presenting safety information to the crew during All Hands Meetings.   

  • Participate in any safety committees established for the site. 

  • Ensure the site is following corporate and project specific safety and health policies as well as federal (OSHA), state and local safety standards 

  • Work closely with field supervision to implement more complex safety aspects of the project construction including lifting plans, traffic control, work plans, etc. 

  • Assist with the selection, training, development, and appraisal of project safety plans and processes. 

  • Develop and maintain a working relationship with the owner or the owner's representative and Ferrovial Webber Energy personnel. 

  • Read, understand, and plan according to the work specifications and contract responsibilities 

  • Assist with the anticipation of project conflicts, communication of preventative action plans, and implement approved solutions to avoid issues 

  • Understand and assist with the planning of work according to project plans 

  • Assist with the oversight of Subcontractors 

  • Monitor and report safety incidents and reports 

  • Assist with presentation of site orientation for workers and visitors 

  • Other unlisted duties will be assigned 

 

Who You Are: A Profile of Success 

  • Experience of at least 3 to 5 years of safety experience in the construction industry  

  • Experience of at least 3+ years in Renewable Generation Projects (Solar or Wind Farms) 

  • OSHA 510  

  • NFPA 70E will be valued though not required 

  • Valid driver license for frequent travel 

  • Bilingual English/Spanish will be valued though not required 

  • Moderate physical activity performing somewhat strenuous daily activities of a primarily administrative nature. Some exposure to outdoors with changing weather conditions such as rain, sun, snow, and wind. Ability to physically maneuver by foot minor obstacles at construction projects 

  • Manual dexterity sufficient to reach/handle items and work with the fingers

The role

  • To support the development of briefing and communication strategies to ensure quality plans and important information is understood and operated by all employees and subcontractors.
  • To assist in monitoring compliance of construction works on site and relevant documentation in accordance with Works Information (including design drawings), Ferrovial standards and relevant Technical Standards.
  • To assist in carrying out reports for the senior Quality team. To support the Project Quality Manager with investigations and audits.
  • Provide guidance on quality requirements and best practice, promoting continuous improvement and innovation across the site team and the business.
  • Promote Ferrovial Construction UK’s vision and values, while taking ownership of your assigned work.
  • Adhering to safe working practice regulations on-site and ensuring that all staff comply with the same. Support Ferrovial Construction Environmental and Sustainability policies and procedures.

Skills and Competence

We are looking for graduates with:

  • Excellent communication skills and ability to interact at a variety of levels
  • Excellent written and oral English language
  • Degree or Masters (All disciplines considered)
  • Must have right to work in the UK by the start of employment
  • Motivated to learn and add value to the team, the role and the Graduate programme

Your Role: Driving excellence through technical expertise and innovation 

Serve as an inspector or assist in overseeing construction inspection activities for very large and complex projects. Inspects construction methods and workmanship to ensure contractors work is in accordance with plans and specifications. Documents the work; Leads or can lead the work of technical and certified employees. Responsible to the Quality Manager or Project Manager who has full authority for acceptance of all work. Work requires contact with stakeholders, Clients, engineers, general contractors, subcontractors, and vendors and manufacturers as required to perform the work. Employees at this level follow standard practices that do not require frequent supervision of details. May be asked to train others.   

 

 

What You Will Do: 

  • Works on a construction site/s and is in the field with construction crews observing the work for most of the work period  

  • Adheres to and assist in monitoring of site safety policies.  

  • Maintain a safe working relationship with all stakeholders  

  • Preforms or causes to perform, including coordination, the approved quality control process and documentation for the project as assigned.  

  • Documents findings, evaluations and inspections using Company prescribed procedures and software.  

  • Assists with protocols, qualifications, and prescribed validation procedures and documentation.  

  • Performs system verifications on completed systems to ensure correct installation per contract design specifications.  

  • Documents, analyzes and reports performance to internal and external clients and regulatory bodies.  

  • Supports impact assessments to identify, assess and reduce the organization’s environmental risks and financial costs, in the direction of the environmental team and procedures.  

  • Maintains knowledge of the Company’s values and strategic plan.  

  • Support published corporate policies.  

  • Perform additional assignments per management’s direction.  

 

 

Who You Are: A Profile of Success 

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience preferred.

  • 5+ Civil Inspection related experience preferred.  

  • Quality experience on renewable/utility construction projects or other heavy civil projects with similar features of work.  

  • Inspection Certifications a plus.  

  • Experience or training in environmental regulatory and construction industry compliance preferred.  

  • Proven subject matter expert in testing, inspection processes and construction procedures.  

  • Leadership and mentoring ability and ownership.  

  • Strong organization and communication skills.  

  • Willingness and ability to learn and grow in environmental monitoring, technical writing and documentation. 

  • Move up to 50 pounds (items to be moved for example include, debris, concrete, signs, testing equipment)  

  • Interprets applicable plans, specifications, prepares estimates, reviews and addresses compliance requirements  

  • Performs Construction engineering policies and procedures  

  • Applicable inspection methods, procedures and techniques  

  • Applicable testing methods, processes and procedures  

  • Communicate effectively and maintain effective working relationships with individuals and groups  

  • Able to mobile and desktop applications and software to perform the work.
